<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein mist of recording liquid discharged from a recording head is stuck to a sensor inside a device, or to a carrier belt to cause degradation of detection accuracy and feed precision, which leads to degradation of image quality. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device is provided with: an electrical discharge electrode 91 to charge mist of recording liquid; and a dust collecting electrode 92 to collect the charged mist of the recording liquid, and is constituted such that it feeds high voltage to each of the electrodes 92 and 91 from a high voltage circuit 80 generating the high voltage to charge the carrier belt 21 to carry a recording medium 12. The device collects the mist of the recording liquid in a simple construction, and suppresses stains due to the mist without discharging the mist of the recording liquid to the outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
