<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inverter control device that can be reduced in the size of a backup charging circuit, is less in circuit loss and can inexpensively be provided. <P>SOLUTION: The inverter control device comprises: a converter 4 that converts an alternating current to a direct current; an inverter 8 that converts a direct current to an alternating current; a plurality of main circuit capacitors 6, 7 connected in series between DC bus bars that connect the converter and the inverter; and a plurality of power supply devices 11, 12 connected between each terminal of the main circuit capacitor, respectively. The power supply device has a total output voltage that exceeds a voltage of the converter, and an output limit characteristic equal to that of the other power supply device, and is provided with a switching means 50 that switches output limit levels. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
