<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a store business support device capable of efficiently and surely carrying out in-store business such as article stocktaking operation. <P>SOLUTION: When specification of an article group including one article or a plurality of articles is received by recognizing a speech from speech data inputted through a speech input/output device (S5), speech data as the name of an article included in the specified article group are sent to the speech input/output device 5 (S7). Then a quantity as to the article outputted as a voice by the speech input/output device 5 is received by recognizing a speech from speech data inputted through the speech input/output device 5 (S11), and the received quantity is stored while made to correspond to the article (S18). Consequently, key input operation of in-store business such as article stocktaking operation which were performed before is omitted and the operation can be carried out through oral answering, so both the hands are usable when a device to be put on the head like a headset is used as the speech input/output device, thereby greatly improving the operation efficiency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
