<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce phase noise, without raising actual phase comparison frequency neither using a particularly high-precision device in an oscillator including a phase detector which detects a phase difference between two input signals of an output signal and an external reference signal, and outputs a control command signal for controlling the output signal to a desired frequency, on the basis of the phase difference. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of IC 1 and IC 2, provided with phase detectors 131 and 132, are made to operate in parallel, and a composite control command signal obtained by synthesizing outputs of the plurality of phase detectors is output to a voltage-controlled oscillator 310 through a loop filter 310. A plurality of regulated power sources 11 and 12 are provided and are respectively connected to the phase detectors 131 and 132 individually or, in parallel to supply power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
