<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display apparatus without display unevenness by preventing influence of device characteristics of a current source transistor which is included in a pixel circuit. <P>SOLUTION: A pixel driving circuit 12A includes; a TFT device Q1B arranged between a drain of a TFT device Q1A which is a current source and a node N1B; and a drain voltage rising limiter circuit 14A composed of a capacitance CHB and a switch S2B. When switches S2A, S2B and S1 are turned on at the time of data writing mode and a driving current I<SB>EL</SB>flows from a data line DL to the TFT devices Q1B and Q1A, a gate voltage of each TFT device is held in capacitors CHB and CHA respectively. Only a switch S3 is turned on at the time of display mode and a current path is formed from a power voltage VH to the TFT devices Q1B and Q1A via a light emitting diode OLED. As a voltage of a node N1A is kept constant independent of channel modulation, a desired current I<SB>EL</SB>flows to the light emitting diode OLED. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
