<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact connector for a card with its width and height, as well as its depth reduced. <P>SOLUTION: Of the connector for a card 1, a cam mechanism 50 is composed of a heart-shaped cam groove 42 formed at a slider 40, and a cam rod 51 axially supported by a housing 10 and swaying along the cam groove 42.
