PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the method of manufacturing a lamp which has a lamp bulb 2 in which a lighting means 12 and power supply wiring 14, 16; 22, 34 are inserted through a supply opening 30, and to form a smooth round top part by eliminating the projection part (top end tip) in the axial direction remaining in the circular round top region of the lamp bulb 2. SOLUTION: The lamp bulb 2, of which one side is closed, is filled through the supply opening 30 for inserting the lighting means 12 before press fitting and forming the lamp.
