PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take out a unit body without destroying a cartridge case when the unit body is secured temporarily in the cartridge case up to an inspection process and determined to be rejectable in the inspection process. SOLUTION: The unit body 10 combining a diaphragm 11 stretched to a holding ring 12 and a fixed pole 13 supported on an insulating washer 14 oppositely through a spacer 15 is contained in a metallic cartridge case 20, and the other end (rear end) 20b of the cartridge case 20 is caulked to secure the unit body 10. In such a capacitor microphone unit 1, a protrusion (stopping means) 14c for temporarily securing the unit body 10 to the cartridge case 20 by frictionally engaging with the inner surface of the cartridge case 20 is provided on the outer circumferential end face of the insulating washer 14.
