RECORDING METHOD, OUTPUT METHOD, RECORDING MEDIUM AND RECORDING/REPRODUCING SYSTEM FOR VIDEO INFORMATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a new system (ubiquitous movie) capable of bringing interests to both of a copyrighter having the copyright of a movie or the like and general consumers requiring to enjoy video information such as the movie anytime and anywhere. SOLUTION: As for video information of high image quality for which a copyrighter requires copy inhibition or the like, copyright control such as copy inhibition which is performed in a DVD or the like is performed, resolution or the like is restricted to a half or less in addition to the copy-inhibited video information and copyright protection information allowed to be copied, moved, downloaded or the like is added to the video information whose image quality is limited to a level on which the copyrighter can permit copying or the like and recorded to prepare a video information recorded medium. The video information whose resolution is restricted is read out from the video information recorded medium and recorded in a compact medium to be easily used outdoors. The compact medium in which the video signal whose resolution is restricted is reproduced by a reproducing device with a compact display to display the reproduced information on the compact display.
