PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional laser trigger gap (LTG), that the position of electrodes must be accurately determined, and it is difficult to keep a sufficient distance between the electrodes, and the electrodes are seriously worn since the discharge is carried out under almost atmospheric pressure, and that there is no freedom of the positioning of the electrodes and it is difficult to bring a plurality of negative electrodes near to each other at switching, and that it is essential to construct the positive electrode and the negative electrode in one set on the laser trigger gap, and it is impossible to switch the plurality of negative electrodes against one positive electrode. SOLUTION: It is made possible to switch the current ranging from a small current of low voltage in a level of that used for a home appliances, to a large current of high voltage, by arranging one positive electrode against the plurality of negative electrodes and applying a laser induction discharge to the switching.
