PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of recording medium intended for additional writing, a manufacturing apparatus, and a recording medium manufactured by this method. SOLUTION: A start address of data for picture reproducing equipment added in at least next session is recorded in a read-in TOC of a first session of a recording medium, dummy data for picture reproducing equipment for making a data main body recognize that it is at least the data for picture reproducing equipment is recorded in a the data main body, or the data for picture reproducing equipment including reproduction indicating information for reproducing the data for picture reproducing equipment added in at least next session is recorded in the data main body. After the data for picture reproducing equipment is added to the recording medium, when the recording medium is loaded in the picture reproducing equipment, data for picture reproducing equipment of the next session is recognized and reproduced referring to the start address of the read-in TOC or the reproduction indicating information of the dummy data for picture reproducing equipment.
