PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify a fire detector that is connected to the same detector line and has issued a second alarm or later. SOLUTION: In a P-type fire alarm system, a plurality of fire detectors are connected to a detector line pulled out of a receiver. Each fire detector comprises an alarm controller for outputting a fire alarm signal and an address signal when a fire is detected and an alarm is issued, a first switching circuit for transmitting a common fire signal with a small signal based on the fire alarm signal, and a second switching circuit for transmitting the address signal as variation of a large current signal with respect to small current signal following the common fire signal. The receiver has a receiving controller that receives the common fire signal and issues an alarm, and receives the address signal and identifies an alarm detector. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
