摘要 A light active electronic device as a component or system for generating light in response to electrical energy (energy-to-light), generating light in response to radiation energy (light-to-light), and generating energy in response to radiation energy (light-to-energy). Methods of making a multi-layered light active particle and making polymer blend light active particles provide the means for creating multi-layered organic light active particles. The method for making a light active electronic device includes the steps of: providing at least one of organic and inorganic light active particles in an particle non-solvent liquid; adding a charge transport carrier polymer to the particle non-solvent liquid to form a fluid carrier/particle mixture; and disposing the mixture between electrodes to form a light active electronic device. The inventive method may further comprise the step of aligning the particles in the mixture; and then hardening the fluid carrier to lock in the alignment of the particles.
