<p>An ultralight picture frame for table or wall having is composed of two semi-shells, of deep drawn sheet of thermoplastic material, at least one of which is transparent and stackable on the other semi-shell. Each semi-shell has a central portion of panel having a planar or cylindrical surface and a channel-shaped perimetral portion salient with respect to the planar or cylindrical surface. Press-lockable cooperating details are defined in the channel-shaped perimetral salient portion of said semi-shells for establishing by pressing them together a stable union of the two stacked semi-shells. Generally, the picture frame has a total weight per unit of the projected area comprised between 5 and 30g/dm<2>.</p> |
