Repair of scratched glass surface by applying clear cure-on-demand resin to damaged glass area to wet the damaged glass surfaces and fill the scratches, and a transparent laminated film of plastics material covering the resin layer. The resin is cured to form a hard surface between the film and the glass. A bonding agent is applied around peripheral edges of the film to seal the film to the glass or to a window frame.
