A wireless control system constitutes a wireless AV system (101) forming a radio transmission network (1) in which a wireless center unit (102) is connected to a TV main body unit (103) by a radio LAN. The wireless center unit (102) transmits control data having an identification code for identifying devices in the wireless AV system (101) and added to a control command, to the TV main body unit (103). The TV main body unit (103) reads the identification code contained in the control data received, identifies a device for which the control command contained in the control data is to be executed, and transmits the control data to the device identified. Thus, even if the number of controllable devices to be controlled by the control device increases, the processing amount required for control data identification at the control device side does not increase, thereby smoothly operating the entire system consisting of the control device and the controllable device. |
