Method and device for bonding drinking straws onto plastic bags

An endless strip (1) containing a multitude of pockets (2) is made of plastic foil, each pocket (2) separated from the adjacent one by a welding seam (13). The pockets (2) can be filled with drinking straws (11) or small disposable cutlery and joined to the outer surface of a drink carton or the packaging of a snack. Adhesive areas (12) are positioned along the strip (1) suitable for sticking the pocket (2) to the wrapper. Non-adhesive sections in between facilitate a clean separation of the pockets (2) for use.
