A container comprises a resin composition containing 100 parts by weight of a polyester resin and 0.01 to 10 parts by weight of a triazine ultraviolet absorber represented by formula (I): <EMI ID=1.1 HE=54 WI=72 LX=694 LY=789 TI=CF> <PC>wherein R1 represents a straight or branched C1-17 alkyl group having an optional alicyclic group in the middle or at the terminal of the alkyl chain and R2, R2', R3, and R3' each represent hydrogen or methyl. Preferably, the polyester resin is polyethylene terephthalate. A colouring whibter may also be provided , such as a phosphorus-containing antitoxinant. The container may be in the form of a blown bottle or a heat-sterilised food container. |
