Inverse-type total shoulder prosthesis

The prosthesis has a glenoid component (1) defining a convex articular surface (S 1) whose center of curvature (C 1) is situated at the level of rear side of the component. A humeral component (2) defines a concave articular surface (S 2) adapted for cooperating with the convex articular surface. The surfaces (S 2, S 1) are defined by a metaphyseal part (21) of the humeral component and a metallic head, respectively.
