Lifting vehicle with a lift device actuated by lazy-tong mechanism

The utility vehicle (1) has a chassis frame (3) carrying a scissors-type lifting mechanism (2) with actuators. The bottom end of the first scissors member pivots just behind the vehicle cab and its top end moves on rollers (6) on the underside of the lifting body (5). The bottom end of the second scissors member moves on rollers (4) on the vehicle chassis and its top end moves on rollers on the underside of the lifting body. The two scissors members are pivoted together at their mid-points. A gangway (7) extends from the forward end of the lifting body, and can swivel sideways.
