Process for cleaning, disinfecting and sterilizing instruments

The method involves delivering instruments in a trolley suitably identifiable for electronic data processing. The containers are removed from the trolley, the sterile instruments are removed from the containers and the instruments and containers are cleaned and disinfected in a suitable system. The sterile instruments are packed in the containers and the containers are transferred to the trolley, which is sterilized, delivered to the point of use. The method involves delivering sterile instruments in a trolley (3) that can be suitably identified for electronic data processing. The containers are removed from the trolley, the sterile instruments are removed from the containers and the instruments and containers are cleaned and disinfected in a cleaning and disinfection arrangement (7). The sterile instruments are then packed in the containers in accordance with a defined pattern and the containers are transferred to the trolley, which is then sterilized (11) and delivered (1) to the point of use.
