The process involves addressing objects e.g. keyboard, of an assembly by using object identifiers, where each object includes an electronic identification device. The device includes a programmable storage unit that stores an object identifier. The identifiers of the objects of same nature are identical. The completeness of the assembly is verified by verifying the reception of response of each addressed object.
