The ventilation device (1) for at least one room in a building has a housing (3) on the building exterior, with at least one suction aperture (4) and at least one blow-out aperture. Between the aperture is an air displacement component rotatable around a shaft, together with its drive components. Mechanical devices (12) are provided for stimulation of at least a part of the energy required for driving the air displacement component. This component is at least one wind turbine (13), which drives a generator. Both the generator and the drive are connected to the electrical mains.
