FIELD: measuring engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises producing ring-shaped specimen of mortar. The base of the specimen is provided with hollow that receives the inner ring. The detachable intermediate ring and outer ring are axially aligned. The detachable intermediate ring is mounted with a spaced relation to the inner ring and abuts against the detachable outer ring. The specimen is seasoned during a period from one day to one year at a temperature 16-20°C and humidity 60-80%, the linear sizes of the specimen is then measured and compared with the linear sizes of the ring mold.
