A tongue switch actuator, whose top view is shown in fig 1, is installed in metal sleeper, which permits to protect working, intertongue and control rods 4, 12, 40 and 41 with metal cowls. Working rod 4 is located in the metal sleeper 1, transversally extending to the rails and transmits mechanical longitudinal movement from electric drive 2 to intertongue rod 12. Intertongue rod is located above metal sleeper 1 transversally extending to the rails and connects two tongues 17a and 17b. Intertongue distance is regulated by two nuts 23a and 23b, which are located on intertongue rod 12. Transversally located control rods 40 and 41 are connected by rules 38 and 39 of electric drive 2 on the one hand and tongue shackles 18a and 18b on the other hand. Drive engine is located on the one of metal sleepers end. Damper 3 and control rules 38 and 39 are directed to the side of tongues 17a and 17b transversally extending to the rails.
