FIELD: methods and devices for splicing of dried fibers. ^ SUBSTANCE: the dried fibers intended for production of fiber boards are fed to a roller for fibers from a portioner through a charging chute that is under action of negative pressure. The roller for fibers has a great number of pins on its surface and rotates in such a manner that the fibers deflect from their direction by the pins and get accelerated to the peripheral speed of the roller for fibers by the pins and air flow developed by the pins. The fibers are pressed to the machine sections and get spliced in the machine section or near one end of the machine section and come out in the outlet of the chute section. In the alternative process after the outcome from the chute section essentially in the horizontal direction the fibers deflect upwards or downwards and get spliced in this zone by means of at least one spray nozzle. ^ EFFECT: provided moistening of a large area of the fiber surface with a great degree of uniformity. ^ 71 cl, 30 dwg |
