Described is a high-seal flexible package comprising a polymeric substrate layer treated on both surfaces; a fibrous-material layer, and a thermal sealing layer adhered therebetween by a lamination or extrusion process. Said layers offer a mate appearance to the flexible package, and a semi-rigid packing structure useful for forming crate-type packages by thermally folding and closing the package, the structure having a suitable manoeuvrability in high speed packaging equipments. The flexible package further presents an appearance finish layer.
