The process involves measuring a complex impedance of a battery for different pulses by exciting the battery with alternative electric signals, where the number of pulses is greater than or equal to number of electric components of a predefined electric model of the battery. Values of the electric components are calculated, such that the complex impedance of the model corresponds to the measured impedance. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a computer program for implementing a process of determining values of electrical components (B) a bank for determining values of electrical components of a predefined electrical model of a battery.
