The device has an extension (21) equipped at the level of a foot (10) of a step ladder, and permitted to increase length of the foot. The extension is connected to the foot via an angular component (22), such that the extension is permitted to remain approximately vertical. The extension and foot are extended based on two different axes for making an angle between themselves equal to that of the angle that makes the foot with a floor.
