The device has a motorized unit (100) formed of two units with respective rectangular bases (120, 130). The motorized unit slides in a vertical direction by a guide (140) fixed at a base plate (110) that is fixed on a door. The motorized unit has two wheels capable of adhering to the ground under the effect of the weight of a mobile unit. A gear motor drives the wheels in rotation, through two pinions (210, 210`) and a chain.
