A fan (41) is provided at one side of an engine (1) and covered by a fan case (45). Further, an air cleaner (30) is positioned in the vicinity of the fan case (45), at a side portion on the suction port (5a) side of a cylinder head (5). In the structure above, a suction opening (31a) in communication with the inside of the fan case (45) is provided in a body (31) of an air cleaner (30). A barrier wall (46) is provided at a position in the air cleaner, opposite the suction opening (31a). A wall portion rising toward the fan case (45) side and the cylinder head (5) side is provided outside the body (31) of the air cleaner (30). A suction portion is provided at one side face of a cover body (32) of the air cleaner (30), and the cover body (32) is formed in a regular polygonal shape. A suction tube (31k) communicating the air cleaner (30) and the suction port (5a) of the cylinder head (5) is formed integrally with the body (31) of the air cleaner (30).
