PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a correct view of a content file even when the content file is inconsistent with additional information. SOLUTION: A file management method comprises a step of generating, from a content list that is a list of information about content files and an additional information list that is a list of additional information added to the content files, an additional-information-added list with the additional information added to the content list, a step of generating a list display screen associating the content file information with the additional information from the additional-information-added list, and a step of acquiring the content file corresponding to content file information selected from the additional-information-added list.
