PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lath material improving the strength and rigidity of the lath material without lowering a holding force (adhesion) of an external facing material such as mortar, suppressing crack initiation, exfoliation, or the like of the external facing material, improving workability or the like of the external facing material such as mortar, and moreover easily manufactured, and a wall structure using the lath material. SOLUTION: The lath material itself of mesh structure embedded in an external facing material layer 106 constituting the wall structure X1 and having a plurality of polygonal openings 13 is provided with reinforcing ribs 11 formed continuously bent in the predetermined direction of the mesh structure 13.
