<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display provided with a reflection film, having fine and high density ruggedness on the surface thereof, and to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: Aperture parts (aperture patterns), having array pitches and sizes which are different from each other, are formed respectively in a first metal film pattern 14a, a first semiconductor film 17, a second metal film pattern 24a, a third insulating film 27 and the like positioned under a reflection electrode 33. These aperture parts intricately overlap with each other, and the fine ruggedness is formed on the surface of the reflection electrode 33. Since what is necessary is merely to form the aperture parts in the first metal film pattern 14a, the first semiconductor film 17 and the second metal film pattern 24a, simultaneously with formation of a TFT, increase in the number of manufacturing steps can be avoided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
