<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manually open/close a sliding door even when using a lock-type reverse input cutoff clutch. <P>SOLUTION: The reverse input cutoff clutch comprises a cage 14 to which torque is input, an output inner ring 12 to which torque is output, a stationary side member whose rotation is constrained, a locking means provided between the stationary side member and the output inner ring 12 for locking the output inner ring 12 and the stationary side member against reverse input torque from the output inner ring 12, a releasing means provided on the cage 14 for releasing the locking condition of the locking means against input torque from the cage 14, and a roller 13 provided between the cage 14 and the output inner ring 12 for transmitting the input torque from the cage 14 to the output inner ring 12 in the releasing condition of the releasing means.
