摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil temperature detecting structure free of collision with flying stones and hard to trouble while accurately detecting an oil temperature without depending on a change in the oil level of an oil reservoir. <P>SOLUTION: In the oil temperature detecting structure for a differential device 1, a ring gear 21 rotatably provided in a differential carrier 9 has the lower part immersed into lubricating oil residing on the bottom of the differential carrier 9 whereby the lubricating oil is jumped in the differential carrier 9 up to its upper part and supplied to a drive pinion bearing 11 having a drive pinion shaft 13 journaled to the differential carrier 9. Herein, a lubricating oil guide part 41 is provided for guiding to the drive pinion bearing 11 the lubricating oil jumped up in the differential carrier 9 by the ring gear 21.
