<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel battery assembly and a fuel battery capable of rectifying flow of gas ejected from fuel battery cells and flow of gas flowing outside the fuel battery cells, and capable of preventing damage accompanying oxidation and reduction of the fuel battery cells. <P>SOLUTION: Fuel gas FG passing an inner gas flow channel of the fuel battery cells 3 and air AG flowing outside the fuel battery cells 3 are structured to be mixed at an upper space on an exit side end face of each fuel battery cell 3, and circular member 3a is mounted for bypassing the gas flow at an outer periphery face of an exit side end of the fuel battery cell 3. Then, relative movement of the fuel gas FG and the air AG is restrained to maintain flow of the both gases in a normal state, at the upper space where the fuel gas FG passing the inner gas flow channel of the solid electrolyte fuel battery cell 3. With this invention, contact of the fuel gas FG and an air electrode or contact of the air AG and a fuel electrode can be prevented, so that damage caused by oxidation and reduction of the fuel battery cell 3 can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
