摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system in which safety at an emergency is improved. <P>SOLUTION: This system is provided with a reformer which forms hydrogen, a plurality of fuel cells which generate electric power by the hydrogen formed by the reformer, a piping which supplies hydrogen from the reformer to the plurality of fuel cells, and a hydrogen exhaust part which exhausts the hydrogen remaining inside the piping at the emergency. A fuel cell is installed in each of a plurality of stories of a building. The hydrogen exhaust part is installed at a higher position than that of any other of the plurality of stories. In addition, a seismic intensity detector that detects seismic intensity of a building and a control part which exhausts hydrogen by using the hydrogen exhaust part when the seismic intensity detector detects the seismic intensity of a prescribed degree or more may be further installed. The seismic intensity detector is installed at each of the plurality of stories. The control part exhausts hydrogen by using the hydrogen exhaust part when any one of the seismic intensity detectors detects the seismic intensity of the prescribed degree or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
