<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image forming apparatus capable of always performing print with stable chromaticity, without excessively performing chromaticity control. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus which is provided with a color sensor, a fixing part, and a detection means for detecting that the fixing part is exchanged, the chromaticity control is performed, when it is detected that the fixing part has been exchanged. In the image forming apparatus which is provided with a color sensor, a fixing part, and a door whose opening/closing state is detected, and which cannot detect the exchange of the fixing part, the chromaticity control is performed, when the temperature of a fixing unit, in closing the door is lower than a prescribed value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
