METHOD FOR RECOVERING PHOSPHORUS FROM SLUDGE OR ORGANIC WASTEWATER, AND APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING THE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering phosphorus from sludge or organic wastewater which generates a small amount of surplus sludge and reduces the amount of heavy metals and organic matter contaminated into bio-phosphorus ore.

SOLUTION: Sludge after aeration treatment is subjected to anaerobic treatment under the prescribed conditions, and the solid-liquid separation of the sludge is carried out by using a cross flow membrane separator. Especially by using a pressurized cross flow membrane separator, the concentration ratio of the sludge is increased, and the contamination of impurities into the bio-phosphorus ore is reduced in comparison with the conventional methods. The digestion of the sludge after the solid-liquid separation can be efficiently performed.
