<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a compression processing and a decompression processing in accordance with contents of image processing. <P>SOLUTION: A driver instructs a controller 1 about a method for displaying an image around a vehicle caught by a CCD camera 11 by an operation of an operating switch 2.
