<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head lamp for an automobile capable of obtaining a smooth sliding property along guide grooves of nut members constituting a light axis adjustment mechanism, without fear of a screwing part of the nut members to aiming screws getting loose due to vibration. <P>SOLUTION: An aiming mechanism E is provided with a tilting fulcrum P, aiming screws 30, 40 supported by a lamp body in free rotation, and nut members 130A, B, screwed with the screws 30, 40 mounted on light source units U1, U2 and tilting the light source units U1, U2 around tilting central axes Lx, Ly linked with rotation of the screws 30, 40. A leaf spring shaped slide part 137 elastically engaged with the guide grooves in the nut members 130A, B is constituted of polyacetal resin with excellent abrasion resistance, and a main body of the nut member 131 having a screwing part is constituted of nylon resin with excellent heat resistance, so that there is no fear of permanent set of the slide part 137, abrasion on a sliding face, nor loosening of the screwing part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
