PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal protector capable of forming a battery pack at a relatively low cost when the battery pack is composed by combining the thermal protector with a battery. SOLUTION: This thermal protector includes, in an insulating case, a fixed contact and a moving contact respectively connectable to the outside, and used for cutting off a circuit by a thermally-actuated element inverting at a predetermined operation temperature.
