PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal illumination-type display structure and an internal illumination-type display method, capable of displaying display information correctly, without light amount unevenness on a display plate in the internal illumination-type display and the internal illumination-type display, in which the information is transmitted and displayed by illuminating light from the rear face of the display plate, to which desired information such as letters and patterns are formed. SOLUTION: By arranging a light-shielding member 1 in a form of plate with a desired length directly above a light source so that desired space is formed between the top of the light-shielding member and the display plate 6 and it may be stretched to vertical directions between reflective walls 5, radiation light from a light-emitting diode 3 to straight upward direction is interrupted.
