PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount spiral contactors having respectively a spiral contact in a high density, and to realize electrically excellent connection. SOLUTION: This spiral contactor 1 has a constitution equipped with the spiral contact 11 connected electrically to a spherical connection terminal 31a of a semiconductor device 31 or an electronic component and having a spiral shape in a plan view, deformably corresponding to the shape of the spherical connection terminal 31a when being contacted with the spherical connection terminal 31a, to thereby perform electrical connection to the semiconductor device 31 or the electronic component. The spiral contact 11 is formed so as to have a section showing step-shaped level differences changing to be gradually thicker, obliquely stepwise from the tip of the spiral contact 11 toward its root. The spiral contact 11 abuts on the spherical connection terminal 31a at two spots close to the spherical connection terminal 31a among edges shown in the section. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
