摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balancer device of an internal combustion engine capable of suitably restraining generation of noise when transmitting motive power to a balance shaft from a crankshaft. SOLUTION: This device has a first driven gear 25 having a main gear 31 integrally arranged on a first balance shaft 17 and a sub-gear 32 arranged on the main gear 31 via a spring 33 relatively rotatable to the main gear 31 and to be energized in its rotational direction. Torque of a crankshaft is transmitted to the first balance shaft 17 via meshing of the first driven gear 25 with a crank gear 15. The spring 33 is arranged so that an angle formed by a point of application to the sub-gear 32 of energizing force of the spring 33, a first virtual line L1 for connecting the axis L of the first balance shaft 17 and a second virtual line L2 for connecting the center of gravity G, becomes 90 degrees on the rotational directional side of the first balance shaft 17 with the second virtual line L2 as 0 degree.
