PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile information apparatus in which a control section of a main body side can efficiently control a camera module. SOLUTION: The camera module 2 discriminates whether or not initializing processing of an initialized mode transmitted from the control section 3 can be executed, when the initializing processing is executable, the initializing processing in response to each initializing mode is executed for each component of the camera module 2. When the initializing processing is not executable, the camera module 2 transmits a fact that the initializing processing is not executable and names of other executable initializing modes to the control section 3.
