PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize fast reproduction without troublesome operation in the case of fast reproduction of information data such as video data to which event input is set. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a reproduction means for reproducing information recorded in a recording medium, an operation means for inputting prescribed operation optionally, and an event control means for carrying out event processing for controlling the reproduction means according to the prescribed operation inputted by the operation means during the reproduction of the information.
