PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate fixing of optical fiber of an optical module, to a package case. SOLUTION: A Z-axis direction positioning member 4 is screwed into and engaged with an optical fiber introducing through-hole 11 of a package case 2 and arranged to move back and forth along a Z-axis. In the member 4, a ferrule inserting through-hole 12, to which a ferrule 13 being fixed to a ferrule holder 5 is engaged through a play gap, is formed. The positioning adjustment, along the Z-axis direction of an optical fiber 15 which is fixed to the ferrule holder 5 via the ferrule 13, is conducted by screwing and engaging the position adjustment of the Z-axis direction positioning member 4 along the Z-axis. The positioning adjustment of the optical fiber 15 along an X-axis direction and a Y-axis direction is conducted by moving the ferrule holder 5 along the X-axis and the Y-axis directions, while a positioning guard surface 17 is abutted against a positioning reference surface 14 of the Z-axis direction positioning member 4.
