PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve of small variation of fuel injection characteristics. SOLUTION: In the fuel injection valve 30 having the valve body 36 in which a valve piston 35 is slidably inserted provided in an injector housing 32 and constructed to feed high pressure fuel from an injector housing 32 into a control pressure chamber 364 in the valve body 36 which one end of the valve piston 35 is faced, a large diameter part 361 of the valve body 36 corresponding to an annular step part 321A and having a control pressure chamber 364 formed is seated on the annular step part 321A provided in the injector housing 32 to align to an injector shaft via a seal plate 50 having an orifice 501 in parallel with the injector shaft provided, high pressure fuel supplied from the injector housing 32 side is fed into the control pressure chamber 364 with passing an oil passage provided in the large diameter part 361 via the orifice 501.
